Nadia Hamid, MD.
Dr. Hamid is a lifelong Jayhawk who grew up in Lawrence, KS. She earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a minor in psychology with highest distinction at the University of Kansas. She traveled east down I-70 to Kansas City, where she earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She then completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Allergy and Immunology, also at KU.
She is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She has been published in leading allergy journals including Allergy and Asthma Proceedings, and has presented at national conferences. She has also participated in committees through the ACAAI.
She is excited to take care of patients of all ages in her hometown and enjoys all aspects of Allergy and Immunology for the opportunity to help patients improve upon their quality of life. She hopes to spread awareness about the management of allergic and atopic disease. Outside of medicine, she enjoys being outdoors in the sunshine, spending time with family and friends, exploring restaurants, bakeries, and local coffee shops in the area, being an amateur barista, and can be found cheering on the Jayhawks.
